More about Adrienne Gentry
Adrienne Gentry is the principal of A. Gentry Interiors (AGI). Her interest and love for design started when she was a child and experimented with space planning and organization in her bedroom and in the bedrooms of her neighborhood friends. To Adrienne, this exercise was fun, and she thrived on creating new, appealing, and functional environments for her friends and family.
In January of 1992, Adrienne moved to Chicago to pursue an education and career in interior design. While in school she worked in one of Chicago’s premiere furniture galleries where, under the tutelage of the owners, she discovered the style of design that spoke to her. She later spent her senior year and beyond working as the manager for several internationally renowned boutiques on world famous Oak Street honing her acumen in clientele services. Because of those experiences, she has cultivated her design aesthetic, process, and organization over decades.
A. Gentry Interiors was born in the fall of 2006, reflecting the hands-on commitment to every one of her projects. Adrienne’s goal is to create a home that reflects your lifestyle, is tailored to your priorities, and allows you to really enjoy your space.

AGI considers every project a unique opportunity to make a client’s dreams for his home a reality. We approach every project with a tried-and-true process designed to achieve success.
Step 1
Client Consultation
This step is the most critical because we develop the roadmap for the project’s scope and objectives. During this phase, we work together to ascertain your needs, wants, and preferences, and then incorporate those into a wholistic plan which results in a comfortable, functional home that reflects your style. We will also discuss the parameters around a budget to marry that scope to those needs and preferences. All this culminates in bringing the vision together through space planning.
Step 2
Client Presentation
At this point, AGI will create three individual space plans, including all samples, so you can visualize the space and get a sense of the overall feel of the project. This will give you a more informed view of the room or home and make the final decision process run more smoothly.
Step 3
Administration
AGI will handle all the administrative aspects of turning the vision into reality by handling all of the orders, managing vendors, timelines, and deliveries while you can relax and focus on the other important things. In this phase, we work with our extensive network of vendors to ensure that all items are ordered, produced, shipped, and delivered to our receiving warehouse where they are checked and then stored for installation.
Step 4
Installation
The big reveal – this is the most enjoyable part of the entire process. During this phase we oversee the installation and unveil the new space for you.
